Considering Doula Services?

I support families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with a focus on connection, nervous system awareness, and practical, hands-on care.

Whether you are preparing for your first baby or growing your family, you will be met with warmth, respect, and support that is tailored to your unique experience.

The Role of a Doula

A doula is someone who supports, empowers, and helps nurture a deep sense of confidence in the women they care for, as well as their families and support systems.

A doula listens, encourages, and gently reminds you of what you are capable of even in moments when you may forget.

A doula is there to help you find your voice when it feels difficult, and to stand beside you when you need support, reassurance, or advocacy.

A doula is a steady presence someone you can trust to bring calm, nurturing, compassion, and care into your experience.

A Birth Doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support to expecting parents before, during, and after childbirth.

A Postpartum Doula provides valuable support in the postpartum period by assisting new parents with emotional and physical recovery after birth, as well as providing guidance and education on newborn care. This may also include referrals to other healthcare professionals if needed. Postpartum Doulas offer encouragement and a listening ear during a time when emotions can be particularly raw.

The work of Doulas sets the foundation for women and families to build a strong society and make the world a better place.

“People will forget what you said, will forget

what you did but they will never forget

how you made them feel”.

Follow me

You might feel like your motherhood journey has more questions than answers

What does my baby’s birth look like when I imagine my special day?

How can I move past feeling overwhelmed?

I am feeling alone and confused, what can I do?

Who can I talk to, who understands?

Where can we find support for my partner to best support me?

Your Experience, Your Voice

From the very beginning, our work together is centered around you, your values, your preferences, and your vision for birth and postpartum.

We’ll take time to explore what matters most to you, creating a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and aligned with how you want to experience this transition.

My role is to offer steady, knowledgeable support, to listen, guide, and provide evidence-informed information at the same time ensuring you feel confident in the decisions you’re making.

If at any point it feels difficult to speak up, I will gently advocate alongside you to help ensure your wishes are heard and respected.

You are never alone in this but you are always at the center of your experience.

Prenatal Services

Even if you’ve done this before, every birth and postpartum experience is different. You may be coming into this one with more awareness, and perhaps a clearer sense of what support you need, what you’d like to do differently, or where you felt stretched the first time. With another child in the mix, your energy, time, and attention are already being shared. Having steady, experienced support can help create space for you to rest, recover, and feel more present, both with your new baby and your growing family. Whether you’re looking for a different kind of birth experience, more support during postpartum, or simply an extra set of hands, this support is designed to meet you where you are without judgment, and with a deep respect for your experience. Prenatal visits are an important part of preparing for your birth and feeling confident going into the experience. We’ll meet for two prenatal visits, where we take the time to explore your preferences for birth and create a plan that feels aligned with your values, including a thoughtful backup plan so you feel prepared for different possibilities. These sessions are designed to help you feel informed, supported, and empowered as you approach your birth. We’ll also go through simple, practical exercises that you and your partner can use during labour to feel more connected, supported, and confident in the moment. This is also a space to ask questions, talk through any concerns, and feel truly supported before your baby arrives.

Options for Working Together

Birth Support

Every client begins with a complimentary consultation, either in person or virtually which is a chance for us to connect, talk through your hopes for birth, and ensure this feels like the right fit. If you choose to move forward, you’ll have ongoing support leading up to your birth. You can reach me whenever you need, whether by text, phone, or email for guidance, reassurance, or simply to check in.

When labour begins, I support you from early labour onward, offering comfort measures, natural pain relief techniques, and a steady, reassuring presence. Whether you’re giving birth at home, in a hospital, or at a birthing centre, I will be by your side continuously supporting you and your partner through each stage, for as long as your labour takes.

After your baby(s) arrives, I remain with you for up to two hours, helping you settle, begin feeding, and transition into those first moments together.

Postpartum Services

Whether you have had your first birth, second or more, they are all different in their own way.  I will come to your home (or hospital if needed) daytime or nighttime to support you through this transition.  This can be an overwhelming time for some people.  I am here to guide and support you no matter what the circumstances. I have experience with multiples and this is an area where all hands on deck are needed. Here are some of the areas I can help with:

- Single or twin support

- Infant sleep education

- Provide resources if needed

- Overnight support to help parents get the rest they need

- Prep meals, prepare snacks and make sure you are keeping hydrated

- Support feeding without any judgement

- Problem solve any newborn behaviours that may be concerning to you

- My ECE degree allows me to provide support with siblings in the home

- Run last minute errands

- Help with laundry

Gentle Sleep Consults and Support

Sleep in the early months can feel confusing, exhausting, and at times overwhelming.

If you’re feeling unsure about what’s “normal,” struggling to get enough rest, or wondering if there’s a better way to approach sleep. You are not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this on your own.

My approach to sleep support is gentle, responsive, and rooted in nurture neuroscience. I do not use cry-it-out or similar methods. Instead, I help you understand your baby’s development, cues, and rhythms so you can respond in a way that feels aligned, manageable, and supportive for your whole family.

Together, we look at what’s happening in your unique situation and create a plan that supports more rest without pressure, rigid rules, or unrealistic expectations. This support is especially helpful during the newborn stage and early months, when sleep can feel the most unpredictable.

Safe Sleep & Co-Sleeping

Sleep looks different for every family.

Some families choose not to co-sleep. Others find themselves doing it at some point, whether by necessity or circumstance, and many are curious but unsure how to approach it safely. There can be a lot of mixed messaging and not always a safe space to talk about it openly.

This is where I come in.

I offer clear, evidence-informed, and non-judgmental guidance around safe sleep, including the safe sleep guidelines, how to create safer co-sleeping arrangements if that is part of your reality or something you are considering.

My role is not to direct you toward any one approach, but to provide you with the information and support you need to make decisions that feel safe, realistic, and right for your family.

A Different Approach to Sleep

My approach to sleep support is gentle, responsive, and rooted in nurture neuroscience.

I do not use cry-it-out or similar methods. Instead, I help you understand your baby’s development, cues, and natural rhythms so you can respond in a way that feels aligned, manageable, and supportive for your whole family. There is no one-size-fits-all solution , we work together to find what feels right for you.

You’ll always be supported here. Wherever you are in your journey.

Other Ways to Work With Me

Together with my colleague Alison Beth, as trained neuroscience practitioners we offer both pregnancy circles and mom & baby circles creating a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, connect, and feel held in community. This is a space where all parents are welcome, including those of diverse identities and family structures.

A space to slow down, connect, and feel supported through pregnancy and early motherhood. Our circles are designed to support your nervous system, help you build meaningful connections with other mothers, and gently prepare you for the transition into and through postpartum.

Through guided discussion, reflection, and gentle education rooted in nurture neuroscience, you’ll gain insight into your baby’s development, learn how to respond to sleep and crying, and begin to feel more confident in your instincts.

There is space here for real conversation, shared experiences, and support that feels grounding and reassuring not overwhelming.

This is an inclusive space that welcomes all parents including LGBTQ+ and trans clients with care, respect, and without judgment. Whether you’re preparing for baby or navigating life with your newborn, this is a space to feel supported, connected, and not alone.
